Creative, Instructional Designer & Stylist

Overview: This initiative involved creating role-based trainings and a centralized hub to support Anthropologie’s New Store Opening (NSO) process. With 18 stores opening in 2024, the goal was to ensure smooth operations by aligning team roles, centralizing resources, and improving communication between field leaders, store managers, and home office teams.

THE PROBLEM
The New Store Opening process was disjointed, with:
-
Multiple tools and resources spread across different platforms
-
Team leads working in isolation, causing communication breakdowns
-
Missed deadlines and inconsistent processes across store openings
-
Operational inefficiencies affecting scheduling, payroll, and onboarding
-
With 18 stores set to open in 2024, the lack of alignment threatened timelines and performance, making it critical to improve coordination and streamline processes

THE SOLUTION
The New Store Opening Hub was designed to address these issues by:
-
Providing clear roles and responsibilities for each team lead
-
Offering a dedicated page for every role, with resources, schedules, and expectations
-
Featuring a master calendar with important dates and milestones to ensure alignment
-
Including an accountability section to promote cross-functional collaboration
-
Being centralized ensuring that all teams had access to the same tools, reducing friction and fostering a shared sense of purpose
-
Collaborated with over 15 Subject Matter Experts from home office and the field to gather input and align the hub. This took over a two-month period, sometimes requiring travel.
-
Conducted touchpoints with leaders before, during and after store openings to ensure continuous feedback.

-
Managed timelines, coordinated feedback loops and delegated tasks to maintain alignment across departments.
